Powered by 22365 SRC WAP- 4, the 12277 Howrah (HWH)- Puri (PURI) SHATABDI Express speeds through the reversible line of Ghoraghata station at fantastic speed. And within minutes, the late running 12504 Kamakhya (KYQ)- Bangalore Cantt. (BNC) HUMSAFAR Weekly Express thunders away, trying its best to make up some lost time. Luckily after running behind freight locomotives for a few times, this time it got the privilege of being hauled by 22864 SRC WAP- 4.
12504 is the second HUMSAFAR Express to hit the tracks. The train follows the Kamakhya- (Via Goalpara Town)- New Bongaigaon- (Via New CoochBehar)- New Jalpaiguri- Kishanganj- Malda Town- Rampurhat- Howrah- Kharagpur- Bhadrakh- Cuttack- Bhubaneshwar- Khurdah Road- Brahmapur- Vizianagaram- Vishakapatnam- Vijayawada- Perumbur- Katpadi- Bangalore Cantt. route.
The SHATABDI follows the Howrah- Kharagpur- Balasore- Cuttack- Bhubaneshwar- Khurdah Road- Puri route
