All these trains are for IT crowd to come to Bengaluru from their places. Hence all premium trains. Bengaluru is a border city. Almost all trains (except 1) just enter Bengaluru from other states. No benefit for the state's people.

The real goodwill will be earned if they provide atleast one daily night train from Belagavi to Capital. From Kalaburagi to Capital. And an additional train from Karwar/Mangaluru to Capital. Ballari to Capital. If these trains - the basic necessity for the state people are run then only people will vote. Else...

People's memory is very good. They are clearly differentiating the last stage work done by Mr. Kharge and the entire work done by this govt. So some politicians know a backlash is in the offing. Hence the new Shivamogga train to save their seat and to showcase something.

The same is true to Rayalseema, people there are furious at many things but mainly due to poor connectivity to Vijayawada, Hyderabad. They are bristling with anger waiting for the election . Repeat of 2004 - is there mantra.
