What are the clear rules for carrying liquor(not for consumption on train) on Indian railways?
1. is it allowed?
2. If yes then how much quantity?
3. Should the bottle be sealed or open?

As gujarat is prohibition station, RPF etc, do their 'duties' in train coming from 'Mumbai to Gujarat. As they suspect carriers may be carrying Liquor in trains. Some times what they catch and what they report has huge difference which is pocketted/shared among them.
Today Gujarat has more liquor production 'illegal' and also conumption of 'imported ' liquors from other states.

Its ok with gujrat as there is prohibtion, but at other places also if one needs to take the liquor with him he must know the rule. As some states are having costlier ones or faked ones.
