my reservation is of lower berth and i want side lower berth so can i change the berth? if yes then it is necessary to cancel the ticket and book it again ?

SLB gives enhanced comfort in all means
you can decide yourself either to sleep or seat both things u can do
even you can adjust anybody with you on that time

Yes SLB are better than LB though they are little smaller in size. In LBs you have to sit the whole day. In SLBs you can spread your leg even in the day time. SLBs are more comfortable than LBs

If Two People are Travelling...
I would Recommend to Book SLB and SUB...
as Both of them can Stay Awake as they wish, also sleep till late if they wish...
