Bro what about coupling & decoupling time..? The pythons have to be coupled/decoupled blocking the mainline itself.. Because most of the loops in IR still are 42 BCNA length.. If at all it is 84 BCNA length loop, still the freight will have to be taken into loop at 10 kmph which again blocks the mainline, & this has to be done twice..now apply the Highest Common Factor principle & tell me how is it useful to decongest a particular srction? Its only useful in case of Dedicated Freight corridor which is still not functional in IR.. All the IR routes handles varying speed trains where Exp trains runs at 100 kmph whereas goods run at 55 kmph, pythons will run max 45 kmph.. So overtake is the basic theory of running trains with variable speed.. Section efficiency cant be increased simply by amalgamating rakes. Because the amalgamation itself happens...
