Western Railway :- Dil Bole Baar Baar WR. WR - Abdul Rehman

Today (29-Jan-2017) visited my home town railway station "Sitapur/STP" where currently gauge conversion is going on in full swing for both the section ASH-STP and STP-MLN.
ASH-STP sections GC was started from 15-May-2016 and deadline to get it completed by 31-Dec-2016 but as expected from, L&T who got tender for GC which further cascaded to RVNL, railway authorities projects which suppose to be completed by 31-Dec-2016 got extended by 3 months and as on date new date is 31-Mar 2017.

tell that this project will take another 6 month to get only basic work completed rest station building, FOB's, shed and other amenities would take another 3 months.
By 31-Oct-2017 all the amenities will be up and running if everything goes well else nothing would amaze you as it's Indian Railway and North Eastern Railway zone.
