local names should be completely different like kalupur for Ahmedabad.... We never allow similar names for normal members also , they are directly voided....
As we got a complaint under head Local name must be completely different from regular name...and to resolve the issue.. valuable clarification is demanded to solve respected complaint 😊

Yes, this is correct. Local Names are not used for alternative spellings of Stations, but for different names by which the station is known locally. LKO is known as "badi line" locally, ADI is called "Kalupur", and so forth.

But yes, many stations have small and large spelling differences. We shall soon allow our FMs to change the MAiN spellings of Stations. So, cases like the above may be reported and will be fixed.

In this case, partial info update was correct (Hindi was correct & English regional name was not needed). Not sure how you handled to conclude the stamp as void.
Yes, the Hindi part is correct. Now confirmed, and also blanked out the Local Name in a separate TL. Thanks.
