If Merger of Rly Budget in General budget is accompanied by suppression of facts of reduction of transparency, the political & bureaucratic interference shall be almost free of parliament scrutiny/public and make RMs & Rly officials, the ultimate authority & spell disaster for IR.

future will decide whether The decision to merge the railway budget with the general budget is good or bad ... or it will impact the functional autonomy of the railways ... :(
