Good move to give connectivity to Panvel/Navi Mumbai with Pune/DD/NED which is desirable as under construction Panvel terminus shall soon be a reality and substantial allocation of Rs 25 crores in next year bear testimony to it.
At the same time relieve the saturated Pune terminal. Alternatively a much needed scope has been created for introduction of new train from Pune.
