Doubling projects and electrification at SWR:
1. Ramnagaram-Mysuru doubling and electrification: Doubling of 1.5km stretch at Srirangapatna pending due to shifting of Tipu's armory, it was completed few days ago, so expect doubling of whole stretch to be completed in 1-2 months, electrification in 3 months
2. Yelahanka-Penukonda doubling and electrification: Electrification complete, doubling in progress (Earthworks ongoing, track laying not started yet)

Tumkur-Arsikere doubling and electrification: Doubling in full swing (Earthworks completed, track laying ongoing in some stretches), funds for electrification of whole YPR-UBL stretch allocated this year, no physical progress on that yet
5. Arsikere-Chikjajur Doubling and Electrification: Doubling complete.
4. Chikjajur-Hubli doubling and electrification: Same as above, Earthworks ongoing till Yalvigi
5. Vasco-Hubli-Hospet doubing and electrification: Doubling completed in isolated patches, earthworks ongoing in other stretches; land coming under western ghats yet to be acquired
6. Gadag-Hotgi doubling and electrification: Doubling in good pace between Hotgi and Kudgi, funding for electrification allocated this year
New line projects:
7. Bengaluru-Hassan new line: Construction complete, CRS clearance obtained recently for MPS 80km/h, new trains expected to start running from Mar 31
8. Kalburgi-Bidar new line (under SC, included here as it was not mentioned above): Complete between Kalburgi and Humnabad, construction for rest of stretch expected to be complete by end of FY 2017-18.
9. Tumkur-Rayadurga new line: Completed between Rayadurga and Kalyanadurga (Andhra side), land acquisition not completed for Karnataka side (slack by state govt.)
8. Tumkur-Davanagere new line: Land acquisition recently started.
9. Kotturu-Hospet line: station works ongoing
10. Bagalkot-Kudchi new line: Earthworks complete in small stretch (~20km, land acquisition pending in rest of the stretch)
11. Koppala-Raichur new line: Earthworks complete till Gangavati, land acquisition pending in rest of the stretch
Electrification-only projects:
11. Chikjajur-Ballari Electrification: Funds allocated this year
12. SBC-Salem electrification: Funds allocated this year
