It's quite normal for ancient structures like this. We don't have the technology to do such tasks by ourselves, in India. Moving old temples and monuments usually costs several million dollars. Part of the reason for the higher cost is the liability for the company doing the job. The move has to be very precise as it should not damage the building at all ( no room for error) . Such precision necessitates the higher costs.
