Sub urban , General & passenger ka kiraya 20 % badhana chahiye.
- Increasing the general fare is very difficult thing now a days, as the new flavour called "poor" (i.e. a person who does not pay Income tax and holds a BPL/Antyodaya card) is currently very hot in the Indian politics known for appeasement of identified section of people. - Based on the current election results, the political parties are giving more importance to become messiah of poor than becoming messiah of particular caste(s)/religion(s).
- The middle class is bound to suffer even more than ever before as more and more subsidies, loan waiver etc shall be targeted towards the "poor", the money has to come primarily from the Middle Class (esp. the tax paying ones).

Train fare 15% hike ho ya 50%, sirf Rajdhani, Duronto ke fare hike se Passenger subsidy recover nahi hoga. Middle to Rich class higher fares dekar apni purchasing power improve kar lenge as they dont mind spending more money for comfort. While the unreserved class will stay happy riding like cattle in trains at lower fares.
