phaltan-baramati is a new line NOT doubling.
it is just 24 km of new line left. when completed - an alternate route from miraj to DD.
it will hardly take a year if funds are given.
a solution as i pointed out to most of the problems.

more...
this doubling, electrification of pune-miraj will take a lot of funds and years if not a decade atleast.
in 1 year if a solution is available, then that should be priority.
