I don't know what list this is you have put up. No heading about Karnataka Elections. Looks like a created list for just stoking controversy.

1. The HS trains are for migrants. Just SGNR serving some part of interior KA, else all are to the border city of Bengaluru. It simply wont entice anyone here into voting.

and HAS are trains on newly opened sections. Of course there will be atleast one train in the newly opened section.
3. The MEMUs were announced in budget in 2014, so was Kudla. Introducing budget trains is not election train.
4. Vasco train was introduced during Goa elections, that too after long time demand by the people of Goa. A much needed train.
5. The GTL passenger was extended to KYND, and now to KRYP. RDG-KRYP is a new line. So one train. RDG-KRYP is in AP, the train passes through BAY, KA. But since no new train for that new line, so one SCR train extended. So its not a new train.
6. That leaves just SMET tri-weekly, which came from demand after a long time.
