After reading todays news...it seems that now railways board has also agreed to close the dhanbad-chandrapura line.final decision might be taken on 22nd of may by pmo

I don't think so . In the newspaper article it is written that underground fire starts after katrasgarh & is not affecting Dugda station. Therefore new line will be merged to Dugda - CRP but there is no need to do this becoz line already exists between TELO - CRP. In anyways DHN will lose Jn status as there wiil be no other railway route to emerge from there.
Please look at the map! The proposed new also originates from the same point as the current line possibly after the Diamond crossing.
So it is preserving DHN's Jn status and this is a RITES report mind you, not my speculation

I don't know bro what will be done . But if this diversion happens there will be a common route for GMO & Crp unlike its having now. So , DHN might loose Jn status.
