Should there be a feature on IRI describing average speed of each section, the average speed would be decided by average of all speeds in that section.
Eg Bina bhopal section average speed is x where x is consolidated average of all trains in that section.

* Any additional detail about trains is welcome for rail enthusiasts/fans, subject to condition that IRI server can handle the additional burden associated with it.
*Avg. speed of all trains running on the section shall give an approximate idea about the quality of track in the section. But lower than actual avg speeds will be indicated for sections burdened with "slack time" in the time table.
