There was a proposal with the NERly to start a weekly express train between PURI and GORAKHPUR.What happened to the proposal is not known.In fact, there is a great demand for travel between southern Districts of Odisha too to have a direct express train between Brahmapur BAM and Varanasi BSB.Now a bi weekly express between BAM and GORAKHPUR via BBS,ADRA,GMO,MGS,BSB should be started. Depending upon the demand another bi weekly express between BAM and LKO can be started by keeping RSA with the BAM GKP bi weekly express.One pit line can be constructed at CHATRAPUR or Jagannath pur for the primary maintenance of the rake.
