Brahmapur is a strongly deserving case for the stop because:
(1) BBS-VZM 383km is too long a distance between consecutive stops, and BBS-BAM is 166 kms & BAM-VZM is 217kms is better.
(2) Brahmapur is quite big a city with about 3.6 lac population(2011) which is more than VZM, RJY,KGP
(3) BAM station revenue is also quite high 49Crores (VZM-32Crore)

SLO is to cater Kakinada city which is bigger than BAM in any way..
It may be shortest HS but its not short distance train as per IR standards
