Due to various reasons, the speed of the trains to be run in certain sections of the railway line is restricted. You will find similar boards with big numbers like 30, 60 etc in display. The loco drivers have to restrict the speed of the train to below the indicated kilometre per hour. At the place where the restriction ends the T/P sign is placed. The drivers can resume their normal operating speed after the sign board.
