Abhi bhi kafi section diesel loco par h....kahna asan h karna mushkil bhaut tym lagega....dusra dlw bsb par kafi load h foreign countries ke demand ka isiliye dusri ban rahi....baad may upgrade kar denge koi issue nhi jaise dlw bsb may ab eloco bn rah
Electrification pehle forest areas aur hilly areas mein karna chahiye jaha train pahuch chuki hai taaki ecology aur nature ko diesel ke pollution se bachaya jaa sake. After that other areas should be given priority.
* Over 30000 RKMs out of total 58000 BG RKMs of IR are already electrified by 31.3.17. Rate of electrification had been accelerated from 500km/yr (some years ago) to 1000km/yr (a few years ago) to 2500km/yr (2016-17)and accelerated targets of 2017-18 4000km, 2018-19 onwards 6000km/yr are set in order to electrify all BG routes in next 5 years. It can be assumed that if not in 5 years, electrification can be done in 7-8 years.
