Obviously, no one can/will stop you from alighting at tech halt. But, I'd read it in a document some months back, that both boarding and alighting at tech halt is not allowed. Once again, let me clarify, that's what rulebook says. Things are different! :-)
As I'd mentioned in my earlier posts, people actually travel by this train from Vasai to Kelve Road which happens to be a station where this train is put into loop line for overtake by another train, 2216: Bandra-DEE GaribRath. Here, both stations are not commercial halts but still people are using it. Who's going to check into the ever-crowded unreserved coach..
