There has been a partial rollout of a modification to Timeline entries. The implementation will be complete within a week.
1. Void & RAC buttons have been removed.

2. TL Entries can now be Edited and Fixed by the original updater, if there are errors. So there is no need to Void TLs anymore. If there is an error, TLMs/FMs may stamp it...
more... to Fixit (with reason) to notify the original member.

3. If the TL Entry cannot be fixed, then it will never be Confirm stamped. It will remain in WL/Fixit status. Old WL/Fixit entries will automatically get Voided.

4. If the TL Entry is correct, then it MUST be Confirm stamped, even if the modification is minor. We cannot discourage members from continuously making minor improvements to the info.

5. WL TL Entries can be put into Fixit by TLMs. Confirmed TL Entries can be put into Fixit by FMs.

6. After a TL Entry is fixed, it re-enters into WL status - even if it is updated by TLM. If the concerned member is a TLM, then after getting fixed, the TL will enter WL status, and will have to be Confirm stamped by some OTHER TLM.

At this time TLs concerning Train/Station/Loco Add/Edit Pics can be edited. If the Pic checkboxes are wrongly checked, then the TL may be put into Fixit, and the boxes may be corrected. If everything is correct after fixing, the TL may be Confirm stamped.

Within a week, all TL Entries will be able to be edited. Hopefully, the above will relieve frustration with TLs getting voided because of mistakes. If mistakes are made, they can (in most circumstances) be corrected, and then the TL may be Confirm stamped. TLs which remain in WL/Fixit - either because they were not fixed or could not be fixed - will automatically get voided within 7 days.
