Instead this train should be rerouted via BSB , so that atleast some load of Begumpura express could be reduced, plus BE halt is a necessary one.

The Amazing Thing is Katra is free and ready to take and maintain this Weekly Train but not Humsafars from Tirupati and Sealdah (yet to be introduced)
I guess even at the current time table if Tirupati Jammu Humsafar is extended to Katra, it could experience substantial increase in patronage.

Yes I agree to the fact...but of you go by facts the SVDK travellers are generally for Vaishno Devi..? The biggest nmber of travellers for SVDK are from Uttar Pradesh...
And then u had cities or I shud say some big cities here in UP Jha se aajtak train hi nhi thi SVDK k liye and Trains from all other parts of the country wre extended to SVDK. But very less from UP...
So it was Long pending demand of UP people and espcly from LUCKNOW and nearby areas for extending a train...

I'm really surprised that there's not a SINGLE DEDICATED TRAIN from Lucknow to Katra, Amritsar, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar & Kolkata. It's the Capital of Uttar Pradesh, most major cities in Uttar Pradesh have a dedicated train to Kolkata.
True..this is what I was upto many times..that even a city like Kolkata k liye bhi LKO k pas ek weekely dedicated tak nhi hai..
Also no trains for Ranchi, Mysore, Manglore, Madgaon nothing....
And south Connectivity to everyone is aware for Lucknow...south Connectivity toh Hume GKP ki den se hi Milti hai...

But I like the strategy. Connecting small B type towns pas (who have travel lucknow, bsb, allhabad etc) to get a connectivity to important destination. While skipping / not touching near by big cities like bsb. To utilize the maximum for remote towns(small)
