Sir,
Factually wrong you are.
In the start, 2951/52 never had a halt at Kota. It was added later on.
Again Surat is the same case, it is added recently.
Just for added information, it

had a technical stop at Gangapur, which has since been removed.
Yet, to support you, I admit that halt halt at Surat has truly been in the interest and on demand by the passengers and the train had not been running empty before.
Further Kota (Commercial) was added in lieu of Gangapur (technical).
The matter can better be corelated with Sampark Kranti Trains. Stops were increased for both the reasons - Demand as well as shortage of passengers.
Thanks!

Yes, the track between Amritsar and Saharanpur are fully electrified . Map of IR's electrification status from CORE's website tells that track beyond Saharanpur upto Najibabad has been fully electrified and energized . MEMUs & Goods trains with WAG-7 Locos have been spotted on this route . The track between Lucknow and Roja Jn has also been electrified and energized . The stretch between Roja Jn and Najibabad is going to complete it's electrification. Similar is the situation for sectons like MGS-BNS ans BNS-SLN-LKO. MEMUs on Utretia-Lucknow stretch have also started running . Thus, officially by 2011 the entire Route should be fully electrified and energized . The electrification process of this entire route has been going on since July(?), 2004 and after it's expected completion of "7 MAMMOTH YEARS" , the Entire Calcutta(HWH/SDAH/KOAA)-Amritsar Trunk Route will be fully electrified so trains like Akal Takt & Punjab Express can run...

with 1 SINGLE ELECTRIC Loco like WAP-5/7 on the entire route without any loco change.
Thank You.

Sir,
Dont u worry!!!
Duranto too are destined to get stoppage in between stations!!!!
Its peak summer rush & so performance report may sound shiny, but after rush is over, it would be interesting to watch Duranto Revenue.

Takht got stoppage in SLN because of Punjabi community here, as they dont have other ASR connectivity else than ASR-HWH Exp (lots stoppage & no AC that time).
SLN is situated on high turn point, making Rajdhani to cross it @ 5 KMPH, so the stop didnt harm it either.
And after all these stoppage, Akal Takht got more AC & SL compartment!!!
