rshbaggarwal283~ 758 blog postsI am planning to visit Ambaji Temple, Abu Road in November from Hyderabad. Thinking to catch Secunderabad Bikaner Exp (17037) to Abu Road. It will drop me Abu Road at around 6 AM morning and then I have to catch a train from Abu Road to Ajmer . Could someone please suggest minimum time it would take from Abu Road railway station to Ambaji Temple , have darshan, and back to Abu Road station. Please advise. Thank you in advance.

if u reached ambaji on navmi or purnima than it might take more time for darshan . rest days whithin half an hour darshan can be done.
I'll suggest don't book abu to ajmer tickets. When you'll get free just take any train/bus at that time only. There are plenty of options of busses.
If you have a good budget and want a comfortable ride as well, then can go for Volvo buses or even hire a cab for that route.

Do travel in GEN class only with GEN ticket in NWR as anytime checking can be done here....NWR is very strict to this...No GEN people in SL/AC coaches...and no corruption also.
