If a train is cancelled or diverted where in the passenger is not able to reach the destination to the ticket taken..... If the ticket is cancelled...then do we not get the full amount as refund...
if the train is cancelled then the pass gets the full amount and if the pass himself wants to cancell the ticket then a fix percentage amount is refundable according to the time remaining in the departure of train from the time of ticket cancelled
Today there was a notification that the train is diverted to another route with which the passenger could not reach the destination.... so the passenger cancelled the ticket...there was a deduction of 20% from the ticket.... This is not fair and good on the part of railways...
