* Tokyo-Osaka, the first bullet train route is the best suited route for bullet train in the world. The combo of high urbanisation/ very high population density and high population/very high GDP make it an ideal option.
* Approx GDP (in billion US dollars)/ population(in lacs) of Tokyo(1800/370), Osaka(800/190), is too high than the Indian counterparts of Mum-Ahm route Mumbai(210/170), Surat(40/45), Ahmedabad (65/65). Clearly per capita income of Japanese cities are 4-5 times that of Indian cities in context.
