This area has 42 MLA seat and TC won all the 42 seats from this area. Mamta ji concentrate more on this area at the time of election which is called Jungle mahal area at the time of election. Lot of special and EMU local started since then. This train was actually running between Santagachi to Jhargam but due to traffic it is now running between KGP- JGM.
