For trains like Duronto, Rajdhani and Shatabdi, there should a facility of skipping a station( in which the train is scheduled to stop) if there is no passenger who gets down or gets up at those stations. This will help is saving travel time and also reduce delays
Explanation: In premium trains like Rajdhani, Duronto or Shatabdi, one can only board with a valid ticket. So, if it so happens that in a scheduled stop, there is no passenger who would board or deboard, then that train can skip that station(since there is no general class in premium trains, no one else can board it). To the best of my knowledge empty berths can be allotted to passengers with unreserved first class tickets in Rajdhani and Shatabdi tickets at intermediate stations
