The coach composition as mentioned in the SR website states that this train (KCVL-Marngaluru junction) will only have general second class sitting coaches!!!
Not sure if this will be popular with passengers who may not prefer this as an overnight option....but surely might be preferred by intermediate passengers.

Earlier Intercity used to wait at Karunagappally to get overtaken by Jayanti and sometimes give way for the late running Vanchinad. Now Vanchinad enjoying Intercity's old fate. Telling with my experience in 2008-09 time.
