Parashuram was almost everyday getting delayed because of Netravati and the Sampark Krabti slot trains. This was the primary reason for change in slot. Secondary reason is that it was highly inconvenient for passengers from Mangalore to board this train so early. So the change in slot is totally justified. Loco change slack time at Shoranur has been negated with this speedup.
