Hi,
I had booked 3AC ticket, 3 months in advance my journey from Bangalore to Ahmedabad . Still the status has not improved. It was WL/47 while booking e-ticket and now WL/31 with only 19 days to journey date.
With the site always showing Charts not prepared. I am unable to get the actual status because that is only prepared 4 hours before the time of departure.

through Tatkal is also an issue because the reservation clerks are too slow in operating that too much of time is taken up and the quota gets over.
I am not able to understand what to do in such a case, I have onward journey from Ahmedabad and if i don't touch in time, my further journey would get disturbed.
Why these Railways people update Chart Reservation status frequentlly to get us uptodate information so that we are in a position to go for the alternative options available.
