The new inline blog posting scheme has now been implemented in the Blog Forum, FAQ and Trip Diary. This scheme will slowly be incorporated into other areas as well - Train/Station Edits, Add/Update Train, News, ... Some of the salient features:
1. You can now have multiple postings going on at the same time in different areas of the page. The reply/post box appears right underneath the relevant header.
2. The various posting functionalities now appear as "buttons" lined up at the bottom to save space. Many more controls will be added in
...
the coming weeks to the bottom line.
3. Most importantly, this is an "expanding" posting box - no more scroll bars. The box will automatically enlarge to accommodate all the text typed in.
Coming soon:
1. Ability to upload multiple pictures/documents/videos into the same post.
2. Direct uploading of videos.
3. Comprehensive "draft" system when you are not able to post right away - just like with regular email.
4. Blog Edit & full self-delete feature for minor typo corrections.
5. Merging of blogs - (by Admins only).
Thanks.

Re# 273779-37
sir when we click on the Reply button we can see the Private option. But if the private option will direct to the replying person it will be much easier as for now we have to type his name and search from the database... LIke previous was much better which default had the questioning person.. For example if I want to sent a PM to you sir, then like in the previous your name wil be default and i just need to click the Private tab. If such an option is available here, it wil be much better... thanks

Thanks for the feedback. This has now been fixed. There is now a "+" button to add members to the recipient list. As noted, the box is prefilled with the member being replied to. (see pic)
