Hi,
Any one observed a small stations named with HALT at the end.
Eg. Kodigehalli Halt(KDGH), Jnanabarathi halt(GNB).
On my side i would like to say station which is similar to above station have single line(Main Line, No loop lines), Where very few passenger trains halts their for a minute or so. There will not be any station In charge or...

Depending on the patronage, IR will provide platforms at H stations i feel. I remember, there is a Ketohalli Halt station on the Bangalore-Mysore route and recently only it got upgraded with platforms and fencing for that when doubling of the line was done as there is a good response from the people for the trains stopping there. Same was done with Jnanabharathi halt station. Patronage is important when it comes to halt station.
