Its difficult to extend because lalbagh express gets effected as it shares its rake with this train. Instead they can introduce a new intercity between mysore to chennai
why every time chennai ? unlike other neighboring states like ap,kerala TN are well connected by most of the cities and capital are well connected , in karnataka we have go to court to connect to cities by rail route why not they introduce some trains from chitradurga to mysore that time so that these two cities will be connected and also trains can be extended to ballary it can bring development in this region. technicality i am not sure but can be implemented as of now chitradurga dist is very dry in rail service (passenger0
Nothing will be affected. Rakes can have PM every alternative day at SBC and SM every alternative day at MYS. Same RSA can be continued.
This is not for any new service. This plan is proposed for alternative for 16517/23 which will be cancelled from Feb 10. There will not be any trains from SBC-MYS post 7 PM passenger.
Agree that Chitradurga needs to be connected well. But this case is different.
