How is the job of TTE ?are they given promotion based upon experience and what might their salary in IR

many (if not all) of TTE are corrupt. They should be bring under Lokpal asap Or a seprate department should be created in railway where people can put complaints agaist TTE in running trains.
A good bolg to make people aware of what one can expect from TTE. I think Anna's jan Lokpal bill will make TTE to obey their duty and obligation one can only hope. Jai hind
solution to such TTE are just refuse them showing tockets untill they produce a ID card.
I was stop at second out gate at LDH while going out after my journey in NDLS-ASR Shatbdi and LDH station by a guy not in fress but holding just a small bag in his hand and asked for my ticket.
I just said who are you and he was afraid to get out of way without asking me anything.

Thats why each & every year millions of candidates are writing the Railway Recruitment Exams even if the whole process of selection takes 2 yrs or even more starting from the Release of Notification in the Employment News,only because as per todays scenario,No other job in our country is more secure,stable & prolific than Rlys.
