My TDR wasnt approved by IR & when i mailed care@irctc.co.in, they informed Journey commenced on that PNR. I missed my train & never travelled, but they gonna believe tick mark of TTE - - - thats the public addressal system.
I got to know about the reason for TDR rejection only when i mailed & although i knw i havnt travelled, how come can i prove & do i have that much time????

the suffer & addressal thing mentioned isnt about me, but about 99% travellers,
1. Who doesnt know about Complaint Register
2. Still depend on Agent for PNR Position, last moment before moving station, not 139
3. Who get their meal packed, as 95% indian train dont have pantry
4. Who doesnt know about towel served along bed-roll in 3/2/1 AC
5. Who are crushed in WL & Pathetic Journey Experience, to left with energy to demand!!!
We all have many things to say, but on-board tension isnt every-person's cup tea!!!
As far as me is concerned.
1. I have puffed cigarette with local ticket in pocket on 3A gate (Pune), while coach was full, TTE said, u dont have ticket n u pufing cig???!!!
I told him, its u who isnt aloting me seat, ,,not my fault!!! (Healotted me berth after 250 km journey & i puffed WT in train)
2. LKO-NDLS Shatabdi - puffing cigarette again on gate, 3 police-man asked me 2 watch info on gate about smoking. I told them to be cool, as m not travelling first time!!! They laughed n said, just asked u 2 c.
3. Dirty Linen provided on-board lko-ltt, i first cajolled in local language & they arranged fresh ones.
4. Every-time i assure towel, if attendent forgot (which he does 99 out of 100 times)
5. IR get Pantry/Attendent service on contract basis & so i never forget that the person in-front is just servicing & dont have control ut just following instructions!!!
6. During my study days, i was travelling in 3A & was tight in pocket!!! I dined & was short of Rs. 2. On gate, i asked the pantry guy if he can deduct Rs. 2 from bill & he did.
7. Get down from Shatabdi, Rajdhani & AC Coach of other train @ LKO, CNB & NDLS- Puffed cigarette & every1 watched but said nothing.
etc!!!
U find these horrible, but it goes on & fellow traveller call it undignified, cz we Indian are polite, no matter how dirty others are!!!!
