Kalyan(KYN) Electric Loco Shed getting P-7s means that after Traction Conversion of the Bombay(Mumbai CSTM) - Igatpuri Section, these P-7s will be able to haul trains like Howrah - Bombay(Mumbai CSTM) Duronto Exp from HWH to CSTM on end to end basis. I think that WCAM-2 Locos being Dual Traction Locos will easily work in AC Dominated Central Railways Area(s).

PS : Way to go ..... WCAM-1s, WCAG-1s/2s/3s/4s will be scrapped as their service lives are coming to an end. WCAM-2s/3s/4s will perform on CR & later will be limited to CR's...

Freight Trains ... similarly to be scrapped later. DC Traction Status on Bombay(Mumbai CSTM) - Poona(Pune) Section is also under AC Conversion Progress. So, DC Traction which in whole of India is only in Maharashtra State, has it's days numbered. All the Best to IR for this project :)
