IR is so over-hyped about the HS concept, now every new train introduced is Humsafar. In reality, it's not worth it. The whole concept of HS is flop.
For this route IMO, they should have considered ACSF or normal SF instead of HS, WITHOUT dynamic fare, and with more halts. The concept of dynamic fare was OK until it was limited to Premium trains, but after that, it defeated its purpose. Who would pay 1.5 times the fare to travel in 3A, when you can get 2A for the same price on non-dynamic fare trains? That too for a train with avg speed 52 kmph? Ridiculous.

It was 2009 when 2A and CC were profitable. It was published in an article in one of the renowned magazine. I checked just now. Sorry for the inconvenience as I said in 2013-2014. I agree 3A is profitable. Just by seeing train fares one can tell. In 2009 SDAH NDLS 3A Duronto fare was 1390 and it is more or less double when flexi fares are applied
