Actually the chart was hardly of any use, apart from the originating station, and in the originating station the charts are already pasted on the platform board.
chart usefull for RAC & Late CNFed passengers. I my self had a case when travelling to YPR in 12245 on 2017 March. My Mom & Dad got CNF ticket & I had a RAC, which got Confirmed 4 hrs before the journey. IRCTC sent mesage in my Mobile that my ticket had been confirmed in SL class, but neither berth/seath no nor coach no was mentioned in the SMS. I had to recheck my PNR in IR Enquiry Portal for getting the details through my phone. Guess what happened.......................................... .. My Mom & Dad boarded S1 & I got place in S8. Finally when TT checked our ticket, one Co-passenger in my Parents coup replaced his berth with me. I got his Side Upper in S1 & he went to my Upper Berth in S8. I must agree that it is of some use, and that is why it was pasted, and that is why I mentioned hardly of any use other than the originating station. Now you may also book ticket for last stations after train departed from origin. Also in the mid way stations the chat pasted on the train fly off or it on the other side of the platform. :)
