Second highest revenue ? It was not a race, it was clearly favoritism.
Divisions can't judge favouritism or likelihood towards any station. RailTel won't promote such acts. DRM Sharad K. Srivastava did present out the then current statistics of passengers' daily commutation before the zone and RailTel(I didn't know this. Got to know after enquiry). Else outcome could have been slightly different. Everything changed at that moment. I referred it as game cause everyone is rushing for Wi-Fi but RailTel is only interested in NSG4 stations or higher.
