Just a reality check that I got today morning...
I am shifting to Bangalore from Apr 1. For a function I was booking tickets from Bangalore to Pune on 8 June. I found flight is cheaper by 200-300 rupees plus comfort and atleast 16 hours less. Even if dynamic fare is removed, the flight is only costlier by 300-400 rupees.
I feel the low cost carrier are one of the main reasons railways revenue will go down in year to come.
