Railways is improving punctuality of trains by slowing them down, recently introduced SlackSafar's are the biggest example. If one can't run the train on time then give it hours of slack so that it runs before time 😂😂, and they're following Mission Raftaar (how ironic).
The biggest trouble of Railways is that it's busiest stretch Mughalsarai- Allahabad is still a double line (not triple or quadruple) and doesn't have a good flyover especially for Satna route at Naini Junction. People don't consider infrastructural constraints of these places and needlessly compare them to other places.

Group D employees consider themselves to be kings and work according to their wish, people don't even spare Duronto (Howrah Duronto) for ticketless traveling. Trains get diverted according to wills and wishes of Politicians and everyone wants Rajdhani for their places (Pappu Yadav) regardless of demand. Agartala Rajdhani skips NCR HQ Allahabad but halts at Kamakhya and Guwahati simultaneously. Railways tries to kill two birds with one stone by introducing trains like Patna Humsafar which fails to full fill the demand of either Surat or Mumbai.

And if that's not enough then Railways is nowadays introducing trains due to Elections regardless of what people want then we have Howrah Bengaluru route with 4 Humsafar trains (Howrah Vijayawada, Bhubaneswar Krishnarajapuram, Howrah Yeswantpur and Agartala Bengaluru) neither of them running totally full, but still running anyway.

Exactly correct.... Quadruple rail line is required at ALD MGS section.... Instead of doubling other routes, they can take this section on priority and then start other routes... This section really needs a Quadruple line....
