Whats the MPS of Majri - Adilabad - Mudkhed section? Why do trains run so slowly here?
Adilabad-Mudkhed 80KMPH & Majri-Adilabad 50KMPH.
On average trains run with 30kmph on Majri-adilabad section and 60kmph on Adilabad-Mudkhed section.
In Majri-Adilabad section, second hand rails are used and hence MPS restriction...

CR is focusing mainly freight movement in PMKT-MJRI section as there are few coal mines and upcoming cement/clinker factory in and around Mukutban. So, they are electrifying this section but no CTR ...
