Running late by nearly 6 hours. Again rescheduling will start 😳😒
Some zones have started rake standardisation........
ER - Poorva and HWH ANVT SF,
SECR - 3 pairs of weekly trains,
NR - Kerala SK, Goa SK and Chandigarh BDTS

can you go in detail a bit on this rake standardization process ??
Rakes of all trains maintained by a particular CDO will have same composition and all rakes will be pooled together......so that trains will not get rescheduled or cancelled due to late running of pairing train.....
for e.g. if all rakes of SC/HYB based trains are standardized and pooled together...then AP will not get rescheduled.......for e.g. if 12724 arrives SC 5-6 hrs late and 12792 arrives RT, for next day's 12723, the rake of DNR SC Exp can be used which will be ready by 6 am......and for SC DNR Exp.....rake of 12724 will be used which will be ready by 10 am....

then for that case they have to find a suitable train to create such a pattern in case of delays ... as of now only 12724 has the night schedule at CDO HYB where as SC do hols 1/2 trains with a 24 coacher as most of the CDO HYB trains are day time maintenance trains.. AP do have a spare rake actually..but they are not using that since last 2 years... if they can use the spare rake incase of delays, they is no such reschedule happens..
