Few Long distance trains given stoppage at Vasai Road station
Ministry of Railways have decided to give stoppages of some long distance trains at Vasai Road. Now passengers of Mumbai and Surat going towards Amritsar, Dehradun , Chandigarh and toward south will be benefited. Train No. 12287/12288 Kochuveli-Dehradun (weekly) Exp, 12217/12218 Kochuveli-Chandigarh Sampark Kranti Express (weekly) Exp, 12483/12484 Kochuveli- Amritsar (weekly) Exp and 12939/12040 Jaipur-Pune (Bi-weekly) have been given stoppage At Vasai Road stn w.e.f 31/01/12.

But only for six months i think they have given halt because of peak time is ahead.
