Your attention please! Train numbered 11045 Kohlapur-Dhanbad Deekshabhoomi express is just finishing it's 'round-robin' run across the heartlands of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand is just set to arrive at Dhanbad Junction.
Presenting a very rare event in Dhanbad, a diesel hauled train! With the closure of the DC line the 11045/6 Deekshabhoomi express reamins the only diesel hauled train originating/passing through Dhanbad. The train had arrived with a delay of 15 minutes, a tremendous achievement when you consider the 60 hour ordeal it puts it's passengers through, just because it notoriously traverses one of the biggest circular routes in Indian railways!

1-10 show the PUNE WDP-4D led train slowly curving in the platform, one interesting point was that nearly all the coaches were around 20 + years old...
This was a feature that I mostly used to associate ER with buts seems like Kohlapur isn't far behind too...
Jokes aside, these old coaches are definitely a risk for a train that travels nearly 2500-3000 kms in one trip
