It's downright absurd that this train does not halt at Varanasi. Granted that MGS is a satellite station but it still requires a good 45 minutes of road travel. Even in its heydays, the Himgiri halted at Varanasi and skipped MGS commerciallly. With Mamata's 'pet' trains, one never knows what to expect.

PS : I think that trains like KOAA-ASR SF Express are the modern 21st Century Indian Trains which don't get much influenced by a stoppage's Junction or Big Halt Status. In a few days we all just hope that this train gets a HWH WAP-7 from KOAA to ASR and in return direction with a GZB WAP-5 :-)
