exactly. ye railway ke liye foolproof nahi he. charo taraf se station to gher ke rakhenge tabhi successful hoga. aur ye gates bottlenecks create karenge major railway station pe jaha pe inki sabse zada zarurat hogi.
people are street smart they will find a hack. 1stly railway need to make their premises like the metro premises then it can be implemented. we need to overhaul our ticketing system which will generate qr codes on all railway stations. this idea is good but i think railways should consider all possibilities and check all pro and cons and evaluate before implementing. some cons are people deboard before station at the outer. enter from the railway line side. huge bottlenecks.
The article does mention that the Railways is planning to make the entire station premises gated. I am sure they are devicing strategies to prevent unauthorized access through Railway lines. The only entry to the Platforms will be through the access control gates. This for sure is a revolutionary step and must be implemented.
