It was a Bi-weekly service leaving Mumbai Central on Wednesdays and Sundays and from New Delhi on Fridays and Mondays with nine coaches, including two generator cum brake vans, an air-conditioned pantry and six chair cars. It took a little over 19 hours. Those days, it was possible to get reservations fairly easily.
